| Brimac Gears Up To Aid Uk’s Nuclear Expansion | 05/06/2007 |
Leading environmental engineering company, Brimac, has branded Britain’s nuclear power plans ‘a tremendous boost’ for organisations involved in protecting the environment.
As the government prepares to make nuclear power a cornerstone of the forthcoming Energy White Paper, companies who specialise in land protection, drainage, filtration, nuclear waste treatment and storage are set to see their business increase dramatically.
Will Downie, Chief Executive of Brimac Environmental Services said: “Expanding our services in the nuclear sector is a key part of our business strategy. I expect to see a sharp increase in the number of nuclear clients we have on our books.
“This a tremendous boost not just for our business but also for the environment. What many people don’t realise is that nuclear power is a low carbon-emitting source and we now have extremely advanced environmental technologies with which to treat hazardous waste – those which can reduce, manage and treat all known radionuclides quickly and easily.”
Targeting the nuclear industry is just one part of Brimac’s aggressive development plans. The company launched today a new brand identity and website, www.brimacservices.com which highlights its international targets, cross-industry expertise and service led approach.
Will continued: “We have already secured 80% of our target budget for this year in firm orders and have new contracts with some of the world’s largest utilities and industrials including Scottish Water, Wessex Water and British Nuclear Group.”
Brimac Environmental Services has been delivering environmentally engineered process solutions for over 150 years and is now capitalising on increased environmental awareness amongst global processing industries.
